March Concert
The first concert, on March 13th at 6:00pm, will feature Arias from TOSCA plus!
Get ready to enjoy a magical journey with arias from Puccini’s TOSCA and other beloved arias and songs sung by four of the principal artists who would have performed in the March production.
This opera is set in Rome in a country full of rolling hills, grapevines, and olive trees. We are pairing this concert with a 2017 John Evan Cellars Le Corbeau. April Concert
This 2nd concert will be on April 10th at 6:00pm. Spring is in the Air!
LVO celebrates life and love with a concert of opera favorites: Light-hearted duets from Lehar’s Merry Widow, Donizetti’s Elixir of Love, and Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, plus solo arias from Massenet’s Werther, Strauss’s Die Fledermaus, Verdi’s La Traviata, Beethoven’s Fidelio, Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah, and Lara’s rousing Granada!
Get ready for a virtual world tour through music from operas and arias set in beautiful cities like Paris, Florence, and Granada. May Concert
This 3rd concert will be on May 8th at 6:00pm. Celebrating Mother’s Day!
Join us as we celebrate mothers, featuring LVO favorites, soprano Kristin Clayton and her husband bass- baritone Bojan Knežević. Selections will include Tchaikovsky’s Don Juan Serenade and Dvorak’s Songs my Mother Taught Me; You Are Love from Jerome Kern’s Showboat, Schubert’s Ave Maria, and Bojan will perform Marino Marini’s Tu sei per me la piu bella del mondo, a gorgeous romantic song to honor all mothers.
All concerts will be accompanied by LVO Music Director Alexander Katsman.
May is for Mother’s Day but it’s also the beginning of rosé season. We are pairing this concert with Occasio Winery’s Provençal-style Rosé of Grenache.
