Livermore Valley Opera Presents

Opera in the Vineyard
August 2, 2009
A Benefit Performance for
Livermore Valley Opera

Livermore Valley Opera’s summer fundraiser, Opera in the Vineyard, will be at new wine country venue this year. Featured artists will perform favorite arias and musicals. Bring your own picnic and experience music and song, al fresco, at Retzlaff Vineyard in Livermore. A silent auction and a raffle will help raise funds for the opera company that will directly benefit the production of Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci in October 2009.

Limited seating and picnic tables are provided and the advance ticket price of $30 includes a beverage of choice. The wines of Retzlaff Vineyard will be featured exclusively; other beverages and desserts will be for sale.  Don't forget to bring a blanket and light jacket as the evening can get chilly.

Featured Artists

Olga Chernisheva, soprano
Ben Bongers, dramatic tenor
Dominique Piana, harpist
Chun Mei Wilson, accompanist/piano

Tickets: $30 before Aug. 2, or $35 at the door.
