Sascha Joggerst (Frank)

German baritone Sascha Joggerst returns to LVO after portraying the title role in Le Nozze di Figaro last season. Mr. Joggerst’s most recent operatic credits include Schaunard (La Bohème) at the Mendocino Music Festival, Dancaire (Carmen) with Opera San José, Yamadori (Madama Butterfly) with West Bay Opera, Escamillo (Carmen) with SF Pocket Opera as well as his WBO debut last season with Silvio (Pagliacci) and Guglielmo (Così fan tutte). He was also seen as Silvio and King Melchior (Amahl and the Night Visitors) with Townsend Opera, Schaunard with SF Pocket Opera and Tiger Brown (Threepenny Opera) with Santa Cruz Chamber Orchestra.

Future engagements include Perichaud in Puccini’s La Rondine with Opera San Jose, Schaunard in La Bohème with Mission City Opera, Baron Duophol in Verdi’s La Traviata with West Bay Opera as well as Morales in Carmen at the Mendocino Music Festival.

Mr. Joggerst is a studio artist at Opera San Jose and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Vocal Performance from The Royal Academy of Music in London as well as a Bachelor of Music from the Conservatory of Music Lübeck.
