Livermore Valley Opera Bios
Daniel Ebbers, Eisenstein, makes his debut with LVO. His roles include: Count Almaviva (The Barber of Seville), Fenton (The Merry Wives of Windsor), Gastone (La Traviata), Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto), Cassio (Othello), Don Ottavio (Midsummer Night’s Dream), Belmonte (Abduction from the Seraglio) among others, with companies such as the LA Opera, Sacramento Opera, Anchorage Opera, Greensboro Opera, San Diego Comic Opera, and Opera Theater of Connecticut. As concert artist, he has appeared with Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony performing Stravinsky's Mass, and has appeared twice at both Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall; performed at both Chicago's new Orchestra Hall and the Chicago Lyric Opera in Handel's Messiah; Stockton Chorale in Mendelssohn’s Elijah; the Napa Valley Chorale singing Dvorak’s Mass in D, in addition to Mozart’s Mass in C minor; Britten’s Cantata for tenor, orchestra, and choir and Serenade for tenor horn and strings with Bear Valley Music Festival.Mr. Ebbers was artist in residence with LA Opera, apprentice with Utah Festival Opera Young Artist Program, Glimmerglass Opera Young American Artists Program, Britten-Pears School for Advanced Musical Studies, and the Music Academy of the West. He is an associate professor of voice at the University of the Pacific, and is managing director of the Pacific Opera Institute.
