Located in the Tri-Valley area about 60 miles east of San Francisco, LVO promotes local talent and attracts outstanding Bay Area singers, directors and conductors.
In 1992 LVO was incorporated as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. It is classified by the IRS as a public charity, and donations are tax deductible.

The March 2008 production of Carmen set new heights for LVO’s performances. Audiences returned to see LVO in the Bankhead Theater and were again rewarded with a large, stunning set and outstanding performances of the singers, chorus, dancers and orchestra. LVO thanks our patrons for their outstanding support and looks forward to another fine production season with our upcoming Barber of Seville in the Fall and Marriage of Figaro in the Spring of 2009.
